I look forward to when I can be in Brisbane all the time....God, studying at UQ is such a wonderful thought. I feel constrained at USQ. This term's subjects have not been as interesting as last term's...and I know Steven's unhappy studying there at the moment.

We were talking on the phone earlier on, and if he can manage it, he's going to upgrade with me. We've talked about it before, but he seemed more desparate than ever to get out. It hasn't exactly been his week, but.....I think he'd blossom at UQ. There's more variety and that sort of thing. USQ....while being a good uni in terms of size and limiting when it comes to subjects. I yearn for Latin, for philosophy, for classics, for Greek, ancient history....even Russian, which I've always wanted to learn!
And perhaps a communication and media course over there wouldn't be too bad either.....I actually enjoy that subject, though my lecturer and tutor Andrew, (while looking like Alan Rickman as Hans Gruber in Die Hard and being a general nice guy) when it all comes down to it, is a bit of a drip when it comes to lecturing style. I miss my lecturers from last term (Bruce, Laurie and Maurice) very much now....the ones I have this term just don't do anything to make the subject interesting for me. But still.....getting away from Toowoomba remains a goal and my subjects and lecturers this term have made me more determined than ever to get out and back to Brisbane.

Ok, now that I've got that off my chest....I'm tired. Bailey, I updated Mark's journal....he looks forward to seeing his favourite FBI agent this weekend. ;)
