Sure Lee Not?!

Christopher Lee is suffering from overexposure right this minute, what with Saruman AND Star Wars 2. Giving such a plum role to him is like stuffing the waffer-thin mint down the gullet of Mr Creosote whilst starving multitudes look on.

Why not Paul Scofield, I wonder? I think he's fantastic, he's widely acknowledged to be one of British theatre's finest exports and he hasn't done anything major since "The Crucible" :-) Failing that, I'm sure they can find a venerable British bloke who can be both twinkly and serious as necessary.

Just please not Lee. Please. Let them give the part to someone talented who needs the fame and the money.
