Greasy slimeball...

I don't know - what does one call the sort of man who would go out of his way to humiliate and bully tiny eleven-year-olds who are away from home for the first time and have no supportive family unit to run to? Particularly Neville Longbottom, who's been famously orphaned due to the goings-on of his former cronies the Death Eaters? What sort of man, knowing Neville's horrid past, would still take care to make his life complete and utter hell?

Noble Severus is a fan construction. He's a great creation, I'm not denying it, but he's not there in the books yet. Canon Snape is a greasy slimeball.

Re: Greasy slimeball...

And what sort of man tells a thirteen-year-old that his dead father was a stuck up prat? (I'm aware I'm paraphrasing, but that was the general gist.)

Sure, he's probably had a terrible life, and he's very tortured. But he's an arse.
