Thank you for the outline of POTC IV. I haven't seen it yet but as someone who is into film, I don't watch movies just for the story. I watch them for the cinematic elements. You gave me a good deal to anticipate when I do finally see it - none of the least of which is more Barbossa goodness and Dame Jud! My son has been passionately in love with this woman since he was seven! ;) As for the rest, well, I may just wait till it comes out on DVD given your review and others I have seen. I just am less inclined to spend so much money for one viewing of any film.

I know I am going to miss Norrington in this one. He died (IMO) so needlessly in III and the only reason I can figure is that it was some sort of silly metaphor of Elizabeth's Kiss = DEATH. I was not impreseed. At any rate, I like the approach you have taken with James. I like the complexity that you have written for him, and have made him far more believable as a character. Speaking of which; Frances is currently penning a long letter in response to his and I sense she is not quite halfway finished with it. She really does receive his missives with a great deal of pleasure and takes equal pleasure in writing back. Thank you both for nudging a muse who has been quite - reticent as of late and of all the other muses out there, Frances will always talk to James. :)

Alright, I am off to work! Have a great weekend!
