Er....Happy Easter?
No, not dead. Just really frustrated with studies. I managed to drag myself kicking and screaming through the annotated bibliography (hating it all the way), and now I've got this little blog project where I have to review four journal articles. I've finished two reviews, and will do the third tomorrow. I like the review format-it's refreshing to use the first person in an assignment and not fear being penalized for it- but the assignment is killing Easter for me. Not fun having assignment work over the holiday, even less fun that it's due on the 12th. *sigh*

I'm also planning my little trip, which is now going to be mid-June. My sister got five free (welll not so free....the taxes aren't included) return tickets when she left Emirates Airlines- one for her, one for her husband, one each for my parents and one for me. So I'm using it to go to Singapore, and from Singapore I'll pay my way to Hong Kong and then Osaka before going back. I could go further (I toyed with going to New York and Europe), but I have a limited window of time (11 days) and I've had these destinations in mind for a while now, so I'm sticking with them.

On the upside, I have the first two eps of the new season of The Tudors waiting to be watched, and the ABC have fast-tracked Doctor Who so we're getting it on the 18th of this month, about three weeks after the UK premiere. Now if only they'd do the same for series three of Ashes to Ashes! I have also just discovered that John Hannah and Lucy Lawless are in this Spartacus series, and now I'm drooling for this to come to our screens too. Please, pleeeease someone bring it here, and please for it not to be one of the free to air networks after what Nine did to Rome a few years ago.

Airing Spartacus on a network would be about as successful as airing 300 on a free-to-air network at 7 in the evening; that is to say, there would be nothing left to air.
