Gah, when did TV Links become no more? That is disappointing, though I've managed to find another site with links to streaming tv shows. I've decided to watch the first two episodes of the second series of The Tudors. So I've got episode one on streaming video. Just noticed that they cast Hans Matheson as Thomas Cranmer and had to laugh because he played the Earl of Essex in The Virgin Queen a few years ago. It seems to me that some actors are just predisposed to being cast in period pieces. Kind of like Peter O'Toole and Derek Jacobi being cast as Romans- they just have that Roman look about them.

Who knows, perhaps the new series will be an improvement on the last one. Overall it wasn't too bad, but for me it was the individual performances of the actors that I enjoyed far more than the series as a whole. Maybe it's because I'm biased as a Catholic, but I always felt irked while watching Henry ousting Catherine and bringing Anne into her place. But then I feel sorry for Anne as well, so I came to the conclusion that Henry was really the villain of the piece. Off the top of my head, I can't think of one member of his court that didn't meet an unpleasant end, whether it was while he was king or while one of his children was on the throne.

Anyway. Going to do a bit more on the thesis while the video's buffering. Anjuli's baby's Christening is tomorrow as well, so I want to get a bit done tonight, seeing as a good portion of tomorrow is out.

TVLinks has been gone since before Halloween, hon... We were using it to watch Nine and had to switch to YouTube. :(

There's a Japanese version of YouTube that seems to work well for movies that you could try, too... http://v.youku.com/

God, I'm so out of the loop on these things! :/ Thanks for the link though, I'm finding that it's easier on my hard drive if I can watch tv shows streaming rather than downloading them.
