I've been dithering over whether or not to take part in this 24-hour… - Vox Audita Perrit, Literra Scripta Manet.... — LiveJournal
The heard word is lost, the written letter remains...
I've been dithering over whether or not to take part in this 24-hour content strike that's taking place on LJ tomorrow against the way things have been handled re: accounts. And earlier I decided that I will. I don't think it'll make too much of a difference, but I respect the users who've gotten the bad end of the deal in this situation and want to support them regardless.

Because of this, my HB recap will be posted on Saturday. Great episode, though. Can't wait to recap it!

Also, it might do me well to stay away from LJ stuff tomorrow. I sent an unfinished draft of chapter two of the thesis to Rick today. I wasn't very happy with it, and I think I'll spend tomorrow working on it further. The mistake I've made thus far is not to allocate word counts for the chapters. This will be a priority tomorrow too, and for the rest of the mid-semester break.

Anyway, off to watch a bit of the Carlton/Richmond footy match. And tomorrow, I'm going to enjoy the first sleep-in I've had in about a month. Bless.

Have you read cleolinda's most recent post about the non-writing strike? V. worrying.

Man, I've been so behind downloading HB. Last I saw, Alan Davies was taking over the kitchen...

Good luck with the thesis!

Went to read it just now....and now I'm not so sure I want in. In fact, I think I might link the post in an entry, since there are a couple of people who plan on taking part in the strike. It's a shame that there had to be an ugly side to this. :/
