Study woes
I just have a feeling that this entire month is going to suck. Largely on account of work. It's never going to be quite quiet enough for me to be able to get any thesis work done, and I'm beginning to worry that I mightn't be able to get anything substantial done on the thesis until early March, when uni resumes and I'll be able to get to the campus library a bit more. At the same time however, I'm quite determined to have something to show Rick at least by Easter.

My current plan of action revolves around leaving the intro/history of scholarship/methodology sections until I've finished the main body of the thesis itself. I feel that these chapters are better left until I've completed all the research and writing on the topic. If that makes any sense to any of you out there. Anyway. If I can get the first draft of the first section (on NT defences of Christianity) completed by Easter, then I think I'll be good for time. Ideally, I want to have the main body of the thesis completed by June, and the remaining five months will be spent tweaking that and drafting and completing everything else (intro/history of scholarship/methodology/conclusion).

This can be done, I'm sure of it. However, work is in the way in that there's going to be no way I can lug all my books and crap in and expect to use the little office behind the counter for my work. I'm thinking that maybe it's time I caved in and bought a laptop, since it would be convenient and I wouldn't have to use up a computer at work for my own personal study stuff. Hrm. Maybe after Easter, when I'll definitely have a fair bit of money saved up for it.

In more interesting news, we're finally starting to get regular shows back after the non-ratings period. Series two of Robin Hood starts tonight, though I'll probably skip episode one since it was kind of crap. But afterwards, new Marple. Something I'm largely pleased about because REG is guest starring in episode one! And after severa's picspam devoted to his guest appearance, I'm looking forward to it a lot.

Also, Hotel Babylon series three seems to be starting in about two weeks (spoilers for episode one)? I am far more excited about this than I should be. ;p
