I am on such an Ancient History kick this afternoon. I studied my Vespasian notes while watching my Gladiator dvd this afternoon and came to the conclusion that Flavian emperors are nowhere near as interesting as Julio Claudians.

Hmm, have looked at the family bookcase and decided there's nowhere near enough books on ancient history. Suddenly Angus and Robertson's selection seems quite attractive. They've only got Euripides, Homer and Plato, but I assume I'll need them in time, so why not? Aside from an ardent love for Seneca, my knowledge of Roman and Greek writers/philosophers is rather weak. That will need improvement, certainly.
