I thought the scene with Calypso and the Pirates was very Dionysus-and-the-Pirates (substitute crabs for grapevines) which made me rejoice to nearly no end. As to the Governor's death, I think it was worth it, if only for the scene with his soul in the boat, which I thought was one of the more powerful scenes in the film.

And at least Norrington has stopped whining since the last film?
