Hugh Grant in talks for Doctor Who role?

Don't shoot me, but I think he'd make a really good job of playing the Master. Er, the mysterious Mr Saxon, maybe? Or perhaps they'll trot him out in silly prosthetics for the next Christmas special?

Current Mood: curious curious
Current Music: Derek Jacobi reading 'I, Claudius' on Radio 2

MMM. On the Hugh Grant thing, it would be cool, as long as it was a good role. Like the one that they gave Simon Pegg was perfect. Mind you, if anyone can pull it off, it's probably RTD et al.

Did you ever see Dr Who and The Curse of Fatal Death from Comic Relief a few years ago? Hugh was one of the Doctors in that. I think I have it embedded in my Lj somewhere. It's on YouTube, anyway.

I have heard of it but never seen it. I shall have to look it up on YouTube later, as Richard E Grant is one of the Doctors and Jonathan Pryce is the Master, which definitely makes it worth seeing. :D
