It is truly sad when you're doing Latin homework that isn't due for… - Vox Audita Perrit, Literra Scripta Manet.... — LiveJournal
The heard word is lost, the written letter remains...
It is truly sad when you're doing Latin homework that isn't due for weeks, just so you can avoid doing an essay. This is precisely what I did this afternoon, when I decided to tackle chapter 21 of Histories. I'm a third of a way through the aforementioned essay (that's due on the 7th), it's just suddenly become as annoying as hell to research. Make no mistake, Latin is hard, but discussing Revelation in 1500 words is tougher.

(*pauses* Oooh, new House this week!)

I'm feeling rather like a big cloud of dunno (points to those of you who know where that came from). Brendan wants to meet in the city next Saturday to make further plans for Italy. I just couldn't be bothered at the moment. I just want to cloister myself away for the moment and concentrate on assessment. I'm determined to have a birthday where I'm not feeling guilty about taking time out from study.

On a lighter note, I'm debating the merits of getting GoF on dvd tomorrow at the moment. And am feeling unmitigated excitement because OMG SERIES TWO OF DOCTOR WHO STARTS IN THE UK ON APRIL 15TH!!!1111 Five days before my birthday! Best early present ever, I'll be chasing after the series premiere torrent as soon as it's online. *glee!* It will be a happy Easter indeed.

Edit: Scratch getting to the halfway point by tomorrow....I've gone past it. Woot! Let's see if I can get to 1000 words by tomorrow afternoon now...

Is Thursday (tomorrow) still on? I need to know so that I can junk superfluous work hours where necessary. And rest assured, they're superfluous anyway, it would just be a good excuse rather than my customary weak excuse.

I fear I may have to give you another raincheck on that, and I apologise for it. I have two and a half hours between when I finish at work and my lecture at uni, and I was really thinking I should go home and work on the essay that's mentioned in this entry and maybe get to uni just in time for the lecture. It's become more stressing than I had anticipated.

Next week, I should become more available, as the next assessment I have isn't due until after the Easter break.

'Tis all good. I can keep shuffling things around for a couple more weeks at least.
