GIP and boxing day report
I love David Tennant and his hip red velvet suit. But I'm sure you all guessed that already.

I downloaded The Christmas Invasion this afternoon! Only, I'm going to wait to watch it, so Libby can come over and fangirl with me. I've already kind of spoiled myself by looking at some of the screencaps, though. ;p

I plan on resisting the temptation to watch TCI by watching my new House and Firefly dvd sets. I bought Firefly today. Went into HMV to check out the sales and there was one friggin' copy left on the shelf. So you damn well bet I snatched it and raced off to the counter to buy it like a madwoman. Since Fox seems to have played the episodes out of order (and thus confused me on some level), I can watch them all in order this time, as well as the extras. And that can keep me entertained until Serenity comes out on dvd in February (which I didn't see because I didn't want to be spoiled for the series, stupid me).

Oh, yes. 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' was amazing. I remember the old BBC adaptation fondly (we still have it lurking in our video cupboard along with 'Prince Caspian'), but this just blew me away. And Aslan was just....well, there are no words. It was also surprisingly free of hardcore violence for the most part, possibly because Disney wanted lots of kids to see it. But yes, good film for the holidays that I might just go out and see again.
