How am I supposed to get 15 minutes out of 750 words?

Specific prophecies of Nostradamus *evil grin* Take the quatrain

Le sang de juste a Londres sera faute,
Brulez par feu, de vingt et trois, les Six,
La Dame antique cherra de place haute
De meme secte plusieurs seront occis.

[The blood of the just shall be wanting in London,
Burnt by fire of three and twenty, the Six,
The ancient dame shall fall from her high place,
Of the same sect many shall be killed.]

Describe how the elements "London", "burnt by fire" and "six" have led many to believe it a prophecy about the Great Fire of London in 1666, and the "ancient dame" to be St Paul's Cathedral (!) which was destroyed in the conflagration. Point out that this is a bit of a stretch and, far from prophecying something that would happen a century later, Nostie was talking about events which were contemporaneous - many of the "same sect" (Protestantism) WERE being killed, by fire, in London, by Queen Mary, an "ancient dame" whom many hoped would soon die and leave the throne free for a less bloodthirsty successor. "Twenty three, the Six"? Possibly specific groups of martyrs, it makes more sense than trying to make it into 1666 ;) You can probably do this with a couple more "prophecies" and then bingo, 15 minutes will have whizzed by!
