I was going to do that end of year survey that's been kicking about my friends page, but I don't feel like analysing my 2004. It's been a very good year for me personally....of course, if we look at the big world picture, it's been a terrible year. I donated money to the tsunami funds today, and I looked at the news tonight and thought "It's going to take years for those people to rebuild and recover.". But then you hear all these little miraculous stories like the month-old baby who survived on a matress and it doesn't seem quite so bleak.
I gave up making spoken resolutions a long time ago. Most of them are things I know I must do, like working harder at uni. I think I'd like to expand my cooking skills a little, or take up some kind of relaxing exercise like Tai Chi, but I don't know. I guess I'll have to wait and see what 2005 brings!
And on that note, may you all have a happy and safe 2005!
