Yesterday, I also went to the movies, and saw Coffee and Cigarettes, which was a collection of black and white short films that featured actors playing themselves and talking over coffee and cigarettes (obviously!). Some of the shorts were really bad, pointless and anti-climatic, but there were also some great ones.
Alfred Molina and Steve Coogan in 'Cousins'. Molina's performance was so sweet.
Cate Blanchett. She played herself and a cousin visiting her during a press junket. It's a great showcase for her acting range.
Bill Murray, Gza and Rza. Granted, this wasn't entirely good, but it was worth it for Murray's performance and the stove cleaner gargling.
The White Stripes. Oh, I just like Jack White and thought his geekiness in this was too cool.
Anyway! Hellboy came out here last week...and I want to see that too. And the director's cut of Donnie Darko.....and! All this other stuff which will probably have to wait. No more films until I've finished my Roman coin essay. And my CCST one.
Speaking of which, I should probably get back to work on that. *crawls off to open MS Word*
