Well coming from someone who has been in the work place for a long time and plus I am a know all (heehee)...you probably do need to work on the one on one situations with a stranger asking you questions. Plus as I've said before, your people skills (in person) don't really shout "Hire me! I love working with people and serving them too."

A technique I would use was if I ever saw the opportunity to shine in an interview I'd take it so I wouldn't walk out of there thinking I should have done that. Plus if I still didn't get the job after that (which did happen) I knew that I did the best I could.

Oh and don't be afraid to ask questions like "how are they going?" and stricking up conversations about questions that were brought up.

P.S. The whole yuppie thing...being one is not so great. AND I KNOW!!!!
