	WE BEAT THE BRISBANE LIONS! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! 90% of my friends won't get that, but I feel obliged to post anyway, that Saint Kilda actually beat the Brisbane Lions tonight in the football! Yaaaaay! Current Mood: ecstatic

Um, that last point actually wasn't a point: you can see it clearly on the replay. It just reinforces the fact that we need video replays in the AFL.

*shrugs* The Saints played well, but I don't think they can win a grand final if (when) we make it in too. It would certainly make for an exciting match though! :)

Well, you never know who'll make it into the Grand Final. The Saints last played one seven years ago. After what was considered a crappy start to the season, they played fantastically....and then petered out against the Adelaide Crows. I hope the Saints make go all the way. A second premiership in the club history would be so morale-boosting, considering St. Kilda have spent the best part of AFL history as wooden spooners. :p

I do agree with your sentiment regarding video playback, as the goal that won StK the game was highly questionable, but....for the moment, I'm content to sing 'When the Saints Go Marching In' at the top of my voice and enjoy the winning streak for all it's worth.

Ah, good-o.

Not that I support St. Kilda, but I don't support the Lions, either, and I hope to see them shunted out the way so Essendon will have a higher chance of winning. Or Port Adelaide. Either works for me. XD
