1. The imagery and the way it was executed (cinematography, actors, lighting, etc.) was very powerful.
2. It was extremely violent, to the point where I just couldn't watch. The scourging and the crucifixion are, of course, the worst parts.
3. The film itself is not anti-semitic (it portrays the Jewish high priests as the persecutors and not the entire population of Jews), though I can understand why there are worries about it being perceived that way.
4. I walked out of the cinema feeling moved.
