Just had a thought...
Roxanne asked us to consider titles for our thesis the other day that might interest someone enough to read them. And I just thought of mine earlier.

What would you call an epic masterpiece about Christianity and the Roman Empire? The answer's simple.

Two words: Quo vadis?

Edit

Someone is going to have to talk me out of calling my individual study unit essay The People's Front of Judea. Really, don't let me call it that. Or The Judean People's Front. Or Romanes eunt domus. Or if I call it that last one, at least make sure I use the correct Latin.

Current Mood: accomplished clever
Current Music: Handel- Solomon (oratorio)- Arrival of the Queen of Sheba

No spoilers, but there's been a Jewish-themed subplot on Rome this season, and my friends and I have been walking around for a month claiming to be the Judean People's Front (and sometimes the People's Front of Judea).

So, it seems to me that it's the best name for an individual study unit essay EVER.

Those titles are nothing when you consider such gems as "How do you solve a problem like Medea" and "Carrhae On", which are actual suggestions made by a friend of mine to some academic acquaintances of his. :-)

Go on, it shows a witty use of intertextual allusion. Plus I think it's amusing and that's the important bit :)

Sorry I won't be in tomorrow: I've not been well this week and am opting to work from home. However, I did have a lovely chat with Anjuli today and she's hoping to see you around tomorrow!

Talk to you soon , lib.

Get well soon! That's an order. ;p Have you managed to watch 'Who do you think you are?' yet? Jeremy Irons is the focus next week. :D

I feel I should probably relay a couple of important events coming up too while I'm at it.

Firstly, if you've seen the trailers (and no doubt you have), Doctor Who starts on the 31st of March. I'm afraid I'm going to be out of town, so if you wanted to go ahead and find it, be my guest. Or else I'll get it when I get home around Sunday evening. Viewing time tba, of course.

Secondly! 300 begins on April 5. I don't know what the Easter break is looking like for you, Daniel, Suze, Clare, etc but that might be the best time to see it. Pending of course upon whether our consul is organizing an outing to see it.
