Important question for Libby
My dear, if you're taking a break from your laborious translating (and how is it coming along?), I have a question: what's the dress code for your 21st? It didn't say on the invitation, so I thought that since it's Customs House it would be dressy, but I just wanted to confirm with you.

On a more random note, I went into Archives today looking for the Loeb edition of Cicero's Verrine speeches that was there when I last visited. It wasn't there. Woe. I bet Daniel's swooped in and bought it.

The translating continues apace. Though i keep halting to organise my birthday, which isn't very postgraduate of me.

I'm sure whatever you wear will be lovely Steph. But dressy is spot on for the dress code. I'm wearing a new dress (and that's a rare enough occurence), heels et al. But as long as you're there, I'll be happy!

In other news: I'm planning to go to evening drinks for Judi's going away. Let me know if you'd like a lift.

Good plan, Tara managed to spit strawberry at me this evening (classy friends I've got, huh?), and I'd hate to have her repeat the performance in your vicinity :(

There should be no need for a lift...I'm coming straight from work. Hoping to be in the city by 5:30, but it'll probably be more like 5:45.

I am going to ask a favour, though. Work means that I can't get to an Ash Wednesday service at the cathedral this year and I'm wondering what service you're attending at your parish, and whether I'd be able to come along.

Oh Excellent, I'll probably see you Tuesday, about six at the P.M. then!

We usually attend the evening service at St Ignatius Loyola, Toowong. I'll double check the details with Mum. I'm sure you'd be most welcome. :)
