It's the first day of 2004 here! Only thirteen and a half hours into the new year I'm already insanely bored.

Can it be tomorrow already? Going out with Jannike to see Return of the King and go crazy at the post-Christmas sales in the city. Today....today I am just severely lacking in creative motivation. Maryke's been toying around with the dvd software on the computer because we're trying to get our 'The Office' dvds working. However, this is to no avail, even after downloading and installing a dvd decoder tool from Kazaa. Damn living in region 4! None of our dvds will work on the computer...with the exception of Black Books season 2, which is a region 0.

Since I couldn't make it Warwick for New Year's, I've been invited up for Steven's grandma's birthday party. It's got a 1950s theme. God help me. However, the thought of Steven poncing around pretending to be Winston Churchill is amusing enough that I am kind of looking forward to it.

Hm. I really don't have much else to say....think I'll go and cook something and let this Norton Defragment that Maryke has going take its course.
